The process of layering is something I enjoy through my practice. Whether this is the layering of the paint, the layering of the found objects or all the processes together, these pieces were a mixture.

I used block watercolour with a lot of water for these two pieces. Particularly the bluer one worked, with the green yellow tone.

Following on from these I used some thicker, pouring acrylic’s. They were strong and heavy and produced completely different textures. I mixed several layers of paint and printed multiple times.

I am still finding my way, however feel this is part of how I would like to move forward, in addition to drawing the maps again.
