For a couple years, myself and a few students have worked together on a collaborative sketchbook swap. We stopped for a while as studying got in the way, however, I’m so pleased that we’re going to start again.

In the mean time I have curated the existing books into four page spreads.

Each artist has one month with the book before sending it on to the next artist. It doesn’t have to be perfect and can include things that interests us, pop culture, the environment or what we are working on, on our courses. It’s meant to be fun and it is, it’s always lovely to receive something in the post that isn’t a bill!

First month

• create call (single page) x 2
• create collaborative start across double page x 2

After that

• respond to call (single page) x 1
• create call (single page) x 1
• finish across collaborative (double page) of another artist’s work x 1
• create collaborative start (across double page) x 1
